ispONE, OneConnect will soon be offering Wholesale ADSL2+ with service speeds up to 24Mbps subject to location. With ADSL2+ you will be able to allow your business to compete with the major providers offering these services.
As with all our competitive products you can rely on ispONE to bring you the services the other providers will not. Our Wholesale ADSL2+ OneConnect services will entail both pre packaged plans or naked line access for you to create your own plans, including telephony.
Not only can you take advantage of ADSL2+ OneConnect plans, with ispONE you have access to bundle telephony services providing that true bundle of services.
Keep an eye out for ispONE's new broadband content allowing you access to re sell and the ability to supplement with ADSL2+ services.
The ADSL2+ OneConnect services are subject to exchange availability and can only be provided where coverage has been enabled. Service is subject to end users distance from local enabled exchange.
Coverage
ispONE will shortly be releasing schedule details for exchange activation times and the expansion for ADSL2+ enabled exchanges. ispONE together with its valued suppliers will construct a complete list for all enabled exchanges for the next 12 month period. Various factors beyond our control may affect this schedule.
It is planned that an initial 200 exchanges will be active for ADSL2+ from its launch in October 2006. Over the next 12 months there will be an additional 140+ exchanges being enabled for ADSL2+.
What is ADSL2+?
ADSL2+ is the next generation of broadband with connection speeds up to 24Mbps (24,000kbps). The physical attributes of ADSL are;
- ADSL - 1500k/256k
- ADSL1 - 8000k/1000k
- ADSL2 - 12000k/1000k
- ADSL2+ - 24000k/1000k
With the progression to faster speeds with ADSL2+ this however will only ever be available to a very small percentage of consumers. Due to the nature of ADSL and it being distance limited the end users premises will always determine what speed will realistically be achieved.
