Position Description Summary:
- Managing the Cisco driven network
- Participating in capacity planning and infrastructure upgrade cycles
- Responding to unplanned faults from upstream providers
- Managing planned outages
- Network abuse and end user fault management
Essential Skills:
- Experience in Telco or ISP Network
- CCNA/CCNP qualifications or extensive industry experience
- An extensive understanding of Cisco networks and routing protocols
- Extensive DSL, ATM & Ethernet network design experience
- A strong understanding and experience with Linux/Open source environments
- Proven experience in troubleshooting production network & systems faults
- Extensive experience in designing, implementing and maintaining networks
- Excellent communication skills and phone manner
- An enthusiasm for knowledge of all things internet

Detailed Position Description:
- Network Engineer of ispONE's core National Internet Network & infrastructure
- Responding to planned & un planned network outages
- Managing support and engineering duties for internal processes of the Company
- Maintaining Tasks Flows from network maintenance schedules
- Assistance in the Development of future network planning and implementation for the Company's growth strategy
- Advanced troubleshooting and scripting
- Possible On Call Duties after hours
- Follow and document procedure under the ispONE 9001 Quality Endorsement
